Concerning the Bible
We believe that the Bible is the one and only book written by the hand of God using forty different men. We believe they were led by the Holy Spirit to write the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments over the course of 1,500 years.
The Bible is the true Word of God and expresses His unfailing love for you and me, the redeeming power of His Son, Jesus Christ, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit (see the Godhead).
Every word of the Bible is verbally and fully inspired by God; it is flawless and contains no mistake. We believe the Bible is the supreme and final authority for all Christian faith and conduct.

Concerning God
We believe that there is one God, and that He is the creator, sustainer and provider of everything in the Universe. God is spirit and exists everywhere, knows everything, and has all power and authority.
We believe God is unchanging and infinitely perfect in all of His characteristics and traits; He is love, truth, compassion, and mercy. He is absolutely reliable and trustworthy.
God judges sin but also, through His grace, offers forgiveness. We believe He is executing His eternal plan, which involves the redemption of man from the curse of sin and death (see Sin and Salvation).
God has revealed Himself to us in three distinct Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe each plays a distinct role in our redemption with God yet share equally in the work of creation, maintenance of the universe, redemption, and judgment.
Read: Genesis 1:1-28; Psalm 139; Ephesians 1:11-14
Concerning God the Son
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and the virgin-born son of Mary. He is God in human flesh. He lived a sinless human life, yet He willingly took with him our sins and those of the world (see sin and salvation) to the cross.
Jesus died with our sins as our substitute. We believe that He arose bodily from the grave defeating Satan, and that He ascended to heaven, where He presently sits at the right hand of God the Father. He is our High Priest and Advocate with God.
He will return personally and bodily to the earth at the close of this age defeating Satan once and for all (see the future).
Jesus is this sinful world\’s only bridge back to redemption with God the Father (see sin and salvation). He is our Lord and Savior, and the only way to become a Christian.
Read: John 3: 13-21; Ephesians 1:3-14; Colossians 1:15-22
Concerning God the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is true God and a divine spirit that dwells inside all who trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He convicts us of the wrongfulness of sin, of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned (see Satan).
He guides and teaches us how to understand and effectively use the Word of Truth. He glorifies the name of Jesus in us and reveals His desires for our life. He empowers us for witness and service for God.
We believe that He was sent from the Father by the Son on the Day of Pentecost to indwell those who trust in Christ, baptizing them into the Body of Christ, and sealing them for the final day of redemption.
Read: John 16:5-15; 1 Corinthians 2:6-16; Ephesians 1:13-14
Concerning Gifts of the Spirit
We believe that some gifts of the Holy Spirit are permanent and are intended for use throughout the entire Church Age (from Pentecost to the Rapture).
We believe there were other gifts given by the Spirit to the apostles and others that were temporary and were given in the Apostolic Age (the time of the twelve Apostles) for the purpose of founding the church. These include the gifts of apostleship, prophecy, miracles, healings, tongues, and the interpretation of tongues, and since we now have the complete Word of God these gifts no longer exist.
At the same time, we believe that God performs miracles as he wills.

Concerning Satan
We believe in the existence and personality of Satan. We believe Satan was created as a holy angel by God and that he became arrogant in his beauty and status. He decided he wanted to sit on a throne above that of God and led a group of angels in rebellion against God. Satan’s pride led to his fall.
Because of his sin, God barred Satan from heaven and cast him and a third of the angels in Heaven down to earth where he became the ruler of this world and the prince of the power of the air. He, along with his company of demonic minions serving him, works out his evil plans against God.
Satan uses our sinful nature and this worldly system (see Creation and Fall of Men and Women) we live in to deceive us of the Word of Truth (see the Bible). Limited only by the sovereign rule of God, he is our accuser before God, our tempter, our deceiver, and he is the father of all lies.
We believe Satan was defeated and judged at the cross when Jesus rose from the dead and conquered death, and therefore his final doom is certain.
Satan along with those, whom he has successfully deceived and blinded to the Word of Truth concerning salvation through Jesus Christ, will be eternally punished in the lake of fire (see the Future).

Concerning the Creation and Fall of Men and Women
We believe that man and woman were created by God, made in His own image and dependent upon and accountable to God their Creator for everything.
Through disobedience, the first man, Adam, and first woman, Eve, sinned and fell from their original state of moral perfection. As a consequence, they brought upon themselves and upon the whole human race the penalty for sin, which is spiritual and physical separation from God (see Sin and Salvation).
Since Adam and Eves’ fall, every person is born with a naturally sinful nature and becomes a sinner in thought, word and deed. Each of us, therefore, stands under the just judgment of God for our sins.
There is nothing we can do ourselves to have our sins forgiven. We cannot work our way to God through our own effort and good deeds (see God the Son). They are worthless in the sight of God and mean nothing to Him.
Read: Genesis 1:26-28; 3:1-24; Romans 3:23
Concerning Sin and Salvation
We believe everyone, without exception, was created in God’s image for communion with Him. But because of our sin filled nature (see the Creation and Fall of Men and Women), that communion was broken.
All of us are separated from God. We believe there is only one way to restore our communion with God, have our sins forgiven and receive the promise of eternal life with God. And that way is through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus took all of our sins to the cross with Him and through His death; burial and resurrection, He defeated Satan, the author of sin (see God the Son).
We believe that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Our salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human efforts. It is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved.
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one can get to God except through Him.
Read: John 3:16-18; Romans 3:23-26; Ephesians 2:1–10
Concerning the Old Nature and New Nature
We believe because of Adam and Eves’ disobedience to God sin entered the world (see the Creation and Fall of Men and Women), and all of us by nature are born with an old sinful nature (also called the flesh), therefore, we are totally unable to do anything pleasing to God.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside us and we receive a new spirit-filled nature (also called the spirit).
We believe that, as Christians, those two natures now dwell inside of us side by side. Though we are no longer in our sins because they were forgiven when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, our sinful nature remains in us.
From the moment we are filled with the Holy Spirit, He begins to convict us of the wrongfulness of sin and reveals the presence of the old sinful nature in us. As Christians, we often try to do what is right, but instead, we end up doing what is wrong. That is the conflict and struggle between our old and new nature for control inside of us.
There is no getting rid of the old nature the two will remain inside of us, battling against one another, until we die.

Concerning Spiritual Warfare
We believe we are caught up in the middle of a Spiritual War for our souls between God and Satan. This battle, fought in the heavenly realms that surround us, has been waged since the fall of Satan.
We live in a world where Satan walks back and forth and back and forth, like a roaring lion, looking for vulnerable souls he can devour and destroy. He sends his company of demonic minions to play on our sinful nature and uses this worldly system we live in to temp us, deceive us and lie to us concerning the Word of Truth and who God truly is.
We believe as Christians, the devil’s ultimate plan is to get us caught up in life’s trials to the point that we will throw in the towel, curse God, and give up our faith. When we believe the devil’s lies, he wins and we become useless warriors to stand for God in this Spiritual War.

Concerning the Church
We believe that saved Christians become members of the Body of Christ (see God the Holy Spirit), the one true Church universal. We believe the Church universal is a spiritual and living organism made up of all believers with Christ at the head.
The one true Church universal is not a building, or denominational distinction. The one true Church universal is a group of redeemed believers who gather together for worship, prayer, instruction, encouragement, mutual accountability, unity with each other, and as a witness to the world.
We believe the true mission of the Church, the Body of Christ is to honor God by reaching people with the Good News of the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Teaching all believers through the power of the Holy Spirit to become fully devoted followers of Him.
This is accomplished through the local church where the members of the Body of Christ gather to worship.
Read: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 4:1-16
Concerning the Christian Life
We believe the goal of the Christian life is found in the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, which is to be conformed to the image of Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The life and character of Christ, which grows through the Holy Spirit (see God the Holy Spirit) in us, is noticeably distinct from the life of the world. It is a life brought under the lordship of Jesus Christ and the fruits of the Spirit become increasingly evident in our life.
Everything we do for God can only be accomplished through Christ (our new nature) and nothing we do for God can be accomplished through our own efforts (old nature). (See the Old Nature and New Nature).

Concerning the Future
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture His Church universal (see the Church), by removing all saved believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgment.
This judgment will be poured out on the earth during the tribulation period. The tribulation period is the seven-year period of time after the rapture. This is the period of time when God will finish His discipline of Israel and finalize His judgment of the unbelieving world. During this time Satan will rise up and use the Antichrist and False Prophet to fulfill his satanic plans against God.
There will be terrible wars, famines, plagues, and natural disasters. God will be pouring out His wrath against sin, evil, and wickedness. At the end of the seven-year tribulation, the Antichrist will launch a final attack on Jerusalem, culminating in the battle of Armageddon.
Jesus will return on a fiery white stallion along with His army of angels, bringing judgment, just as He had promised destroying the Antichrist and his armies. Christ will then bind Satan in the Abyss for 1000 years and He will rule His earthly kingdom for this thousand-year period.
At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be released and defeated again. He will then appear at the Great White Throne Judgment Seat of Christ with all of us. Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet along with all who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be cast into the lake of fire.
They will be tormented day and night forever and ever, totally separated from God for all eternity.

Concerning Heaven and Hell
Heaven: We believe Heaven truly does exist, and is the home of our loving, holy and perfect God. God has provided each of us the key to open the doors of heaven, belief in His Son, Jesus Christ (see God the Son).
All who believe in Him and seek forgiveness for their sin (see Sin and Salvation) will find the doors of heaven swung wide open for us where we will spend eternity with our Heavenly Father in never ending bliss.
We believe on the day of the Great White Throne Judgment Seat of Christ, these believers will be rewarded for good works and faithful service preformed through Jesus Christ during their time on earth (see the Christian Life).
Read: Mark 16:19; John 14: 1-6; Acts 7:55-56; 2 Corinthians 5:1-4
Hell: We believe Hell truly does exist, and that this is where those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and repented of their sin will end up after death (see Sin and Salvation).
We believe on the day of the Great White Throne Judgment Seat of Christ, Jesus will judge and cast all unsaved people along with Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet into the lake of fire.
There will be no second chances for salvation. This will be a lake of burning sulfur where they will be tormented day and night forever and ever, totally separated from God for all eternity.
