My friends, wouldn’t you agree that our lives today are surrounded by almost every kind of evil and wickedness that man can imagine. This evil causes wars, fighting, pain, greed, hate, envy, quarreling, dishonesty, injustice and murder. Do you know someone who constantly breaks their promises and at times seem so heartless, and callous when they want something you have? All of this evil and wickedness that is in the world today finds its root cause in one word, “SIN.”
Why do I look and act the way I do? Why am I here, what is the purpose for my life? Does God even know I exist? And what’s really in it for me? If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions, you are not alone. Would you believe that you can find the answers to not only these questions but many others in the Bible?
My friend, if you still feel you are missing something in your Christian life, you’re not alone. The simple truth is that you’re trying to live your Christian life through your old sinful nature, and it just won’t work. The Bible teaches us that there is only one way to live your life now and that simple answer is to live your life through Jesus.
Eternity! Have you ever really thought about it? We’re here on earth for a brief 70 or 80 years and then we die. Is that it? No, my friend, for Christians, our journey is just beginning. What’s ahead for you and me is a wonderful future that God Himself has prepared for us.
